Next Steps in the Enrollment Process 

For Parents who have formally accepted a position in the school by signing and returning their Enrollment Acceptance Form. 

1. Must have attended at least one Information Parent Meeting, during which time Principal will detail the school’s expectations for both students and families. (Future dates of parent information meetings, if you have not yet attended- May 14, May 27 and June 11.  See website for details and additional dates.)
   

2. Review, understand and commit to the expectations outlined in:

   Copies will also be made available at the Enrollment Fairs.

3. For the families who have accepted a position at Goethe International Charter School

   We are delighted that you have accepted a position at Goethe International Charter School and look forward to having your child in our school. You have completed the first step which is to complete an APPLICATION Form, have your child's name identified in the lottery, and formally accept a position by completing and returning your offer letter. The good news is that you have completed that step...however; you are only half way there.

   In order to secure your child's position in Goethe you need to complete step two which is to complete an ENROLLMENT Packet. The enrollment packet has many forms that must be completed that give the school vital safety and family information about your child.

   You must plan to attend our next Enrollment Fair which is scheduled for July 15th from 3:00-6:00 p.m.at the school offices. We are located at 12500 Braddock Ave., 90066. Please enter at the small gate located on Westlawn Ave. Please see Step 4, below, to find details about documents that you must bring with you.

4. In order to be prepared to adequately complete the Registration Forms required
   please bring the following documents with you:
   

• One Proof of Residency Document
  (must be an original, no copies accepted)
  
  Utility Bill (gas, electric, cable TV or water)
  Telephone Bill (NOT Cell Phone)
  Tax Payment Receipts
  Correspondence for Dept. of Social Services
  Mortgage or rental agreement and current rent receipt
  
  
• Original Birth Certificate
• Up-to-Date Immunization Record (including a TB test within a year)
• Health Check-up (Kinder or 1st  if already completed)
• Copy of most current report card (Grades 1-5 only)

 

Students may not begin school until an enrollment packet is complete and been officially checked by a staff or enrollment committee member!
