Goethe Parent Association (GPA)
Welcome - Willkommen - Bienvenidos to our Goethe International Charter School (GICS) community! We are thrilled to have you here.
Our school is a very special place with extraordinary teachers, who provide our children with the benefits of a bilingual immersion education in conjunction with the International Baccalaureate teaching framework. One of the most important qualities of any successful charter school is the creation of an actively involved parent community. At GICS, we have parents from all over the world, who speak many different languages at home, with mixed cultures and traditions, all committed to giving their children a ground-breaking, high-quality education.
Each of our parents is automatically a voting member of the Goethe Parent Association (GPA), meaning each parent has the right to run for a GPA Board position and to vote in the end-of-the-year GPA Board elections for the following school year.
As a parent or guardian of a Goethe student, you are already a valued member of the Goethe Parent Association (GPA). The GPA plays a vital role in building and nurturing our school community—bringing families together to create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels connected and supported. We do this by creating community events, encouraging volunteering and parent engagement, enhancing communication between the school and families, and appreciating our teachers.
Our meetings are held on campus at the valet gate monthly at 8:15 AM. Check the school’s calendar for exact dates.
