GICS 2026 Spring Benefit
8th Annual Tony Thomas Jog-A-Thon 2026
The Tony Thomas Jog-a-thon is a beloved tradition at Goethe International Charter School and one of our most exciting student-centered events of the year. Created to promote fitness, perseverance, and school spirit, the Jog-a-thon brings our community together for a fun-filled day of movement and encouragement. Students take to an outdoor track and challenge themselves to run as many laps as possible within 20 minutes, cheered on by classmates, teachers, and families.
This special event also serves as one of the school’s major annual fundraisers. Through the generosity of extended family, friends, and neighbors who sponsor students’ running efforts, the Jog-a-thon helps raise essential funds that directly support academics, enrichment programs, technology, and student experiences at GICS. More than just a fundraiser, the Tony Thomas Jog-a-thon is a celebration of community, determination, and the shared commitment to investing in our students’ future.
Annual Giving Campaign 2026
The Annual Giving Campaign at Goethe International Charter School helps bridge the gap between public funding and the true cost of providing a high-quality, well-rounded education. As a charter school operating with limited funding, many of the programs and experiences that make GICS special rely on the generosity of our community.
The suggested contribution of $2,000 per child directly supports academics, classroom resources, technology, arts, athletics, field trips, student support services, and enrichment opportunities that enhance everyday learning. Donations also help maintain smaller class sizes and provide individualized support, allowing teachers to better meet the needs of every student.
Every contribution, big or small, is an investment in our students, teachers, and the future of our school community.
