Student Leadership Opportunities

At Goethe International Charter School, students are encouraged to develop leadership skills, take initiative, and make a positive impact within our school community. Through a variety of leadership opportunities, students learn the importance of responsibility, collaboration, communication, and service while building confidence and preparing for future success.

Whether organizing school events, representing their peers, welcoming new students, or providing valuable feedback to school leadership, our student leaders play an important role in shaping the GICS experience. These opportunities empower students to become active contributors, thoughtful problem-solvers, and engaged members of our community.

Student Council

Student Council provides students with the opportunity to represent their classmates, organize school activities, promote school spirit, and support community-building initiatives. Members develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while helping create a positive and inclusive school environment.

Advisory Student Council

The Advisory Student Council serves as a student voice and advisory group, providing feedback and perspectives on school programs, initiatives, and student experiences. Members collaborate with school leadership to share ideas, discuss important topics, and help strengthen the school community.

WEB Leaders (Where Everybody Belongs)

WEB Leaders are student mentors who help support and guide younger students as they transition into middle school. Through mentorship, leadership activities, and community-building events, WEB Leaders foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel connected, supported, and successful.
