Lottery

The random, public lottery for the 2019-20 school year will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose-Room (MPR). Applicants do not need to be present at the lottery in order to be offered a spot in the school.

Goethe International Charter School (GICS) will accept applications for the 2019-20 school year lottery beginning January 1, 2019 through Friday, March 29, 2019 by 4:30 PM. All completed applications submitted before the deadline are eligible for the enrollment lottery. Applications are accepted after the lottery deadline. Those applications are placed on a wait list on a first come, first served basis.

Applicants who were wait-listed in a previous lottery must re-apply in order to be eligible for another opportunity in the enrollment lottery.

Application forms can be downloaded and printed from the GICS website. They are also available in the school’s Administrative Office beginning January 1, 2019 and at all of Goethe International Charter School’s enrollment events. To apply, the lottery application form needs to be filled out and submitted:

Completed applications may be scanned and sent to lottery@goethecharterschool.org.

Within 5 working days, an email confirmation is sent for each application Goethe International Charter School receives. If an email confirmation is not received within 5 business days, the application should be re-submitted.
