Traffic Safety Awareness Week

What
Traffic Safety Awareness Week
When
4/10/2026

During this time, we will place a special focus on the critical role adults play in keeping students safe during drop-off and pick-up. Following established traffic rules and school procedures helps ensure a smooth and secure environment for every child.

We kindly ask all families to support this effort by:

  • Adhering to posted traffic signs

  • Following school guidelines for drop-off and pick-up

  • Using designated drop-off and pick-up areas only

  • Driving slowly and remaining alert in school zones

  • Modeling safe and respectful behavior

  • Respecting our neighbors and surrounding community

When using the Valet Line, please:

  • Have student backpacks & materials in the car, not the trunk, for a smooth exit

  • Enter the Valet from Braddock (not Allin or Havelock)

  • Pull all the way forward

  • Remain in your vehicle (adults should not exit to assist students)

  • Drop off students at the curb only; students should exit on the passenger side

When exiting the Valet Line:

  • Do not make U-turns

  • Follow the designated exit route and turn right onto Milton
