Traffic Safety Awareness Week
- What
- Traffic Safety Awareness Week
- When
- 4/7/2026
During this time, we will place a special focus on the critical role adults play in keeping students safe during drop-off and pick-up. Following established traffic rules and school procedures helps ensure a smooth and secure environment for every child.
We kindly ask all families to support this effort by:
Adhering to posted traffic signs
Following school guidelines for drop-off and pick-up
Using designated drop-off and pick-up areas only
Driving slowly and remaining alert in school zones
Modeling safe and respectful behavior
Respecting our neighbors and surrounding community
When using the Valet Line, please:
Have student backpacks & materials in the car, not the trunk, for a smooth exit
Enter the Valet from Braddock (not Allin or Havelock)
Pull all the way forward
Remain in your vehicle (adults should not exit to assist students)
Drop off students at the curb only; students should exit on the passenger side
When exiting the Valet Line:
Do not make U-turns
Follow the designated exit route and turn right onto Milton
