Big congratulations to our incredible Resource Teacher, Kate Healy! She was officially voted GICS’ Teacher of the Year at the LAX Coastal Chamber’s Eddy Awards!
Ms. Healy’s colleagues nominated her because of her deep commitment to our students and the entire GICS community. She is a truly dedicated, caring, and principled educator who has shared her talents with us as both a classroom and resource teacher. No matter what is needed, Ms. Healy is always the first to jump in and support our programs, staff, and students.
She is a phenomenal teacher who has helped so many of our students thrive and make amazing academic progress. Thank you for everything you do every single day, Ms. Healy! We are so lucky to have you.
