Student Life at GICS

Student life at GICS is where passions are discovered, friendships are formed, and school memories are made. Beyond academics, students have countless opportunities to explore new interests, express their creativity, stay active, and connect with their community. Through activities, clubs, arts & crafts, cultural celebrations, leadership opportunities, spirit days, special events, and more! Students at GICS experience a well-rounded education that nurtures both personal growth and a sense of belonging.

Student Leadership (4th - 8th Grade) 

Whether organizing school events, representing their peers, welcoming new students, or providing valuable feedback to school leadership, our student leaders play an important role in shaping the GICS experience. These opportunities empower students to become active contributors, thoughtful problem-solvers, and engaged members of our community.

Spirit & School Culture (All grade levels)

Students take part in fun and meaningful traditions that build community and school pride, including:

• House Spirit Days (TK - 5th Grade)
• School Spirit Days (All Grade Levels)
• Pep Rally Days (6-8th Grade)

Students can discover new passions, develop their talents, and connect with friends through a variety of student-led and staff-sponsored clubs. Club offerings are based on student interests and rotate each semester, creating exciting new opportunities to explore, learn, and get involved throughout the year.

MYP Socials (Grades 6-8)

Middle school students come together throughout the year for social events that build community, strengthen friendships, and promote school spirit.
