Big congratulations to our incredible Resource Teacher, Kate Healy! She was officially voted GICS’ Teacher of the Year at the LAX Coastal Chamber’s Eddy Awards! Ms. Healy’s colleagues nominated her because of her deep commitment to our students and the entire GICS community. She is a truly dedicated, caring, and principled educator who has shared her talents with us as both a classroom and resource teacher. Hello GICS Families, Friends, and Staff! We are excited to announce that our 8th Annual Tony Thomas Jog-a-thon will take place on Friday, April 17! Throughout the school day, students will participate in scheduled running times with their classes. This fun and energetic event encourages our students to stay active while raising funds, building school spirit, teamwork, and community. To help your child have the best experience, please make sure they come to school prepared with: • Comfortable running shoes • Clothing suitable for physical activity • A water bottle
